Formed in 1989, this popular Glasgow band have a long reputation etched into the very fabric of the Ferry. In the 1990’s, Big Vern n the Shootahs at the Ferry had the envious reputation of being the number three gig in Glasgow, second only to Prince and Michael Jackson (Copyright Billy Sloan) and Big Vern still hold the record for the most tickets sold for ANY show on the Ferry. Still going strong, the band have built on their reputation and are now one of the most revered live bands in the UK.
After a gap of way way too long, Big Vern n the Shootahs bring their nine piece live phenomenon back to The Ferry stage and we are absolutely delighted to see them return to their spiritual home in Glasgow.
