Bauer Media Scotland is delighted to announce In:Demand Live, which this year takes place from 2-6pm at the SECC, on Saturday 18th June. This year’s line up ensures that the event retains its crown as Scotland’s biggest and best pop party.

And there will be loads more to see and do at the Exhibition Centre on the day of the show so don’t miss all the fun!

The Line up in full: Nicola Roberts, The Wanted, The Saturdays, Alexis Jordan,  Chipmunk, The Feeling, Tinchy Stryder, Wretch32, Example, Her Majesty and The Wolves, Wonderland and Yasmin, Parade, Starboy Nathan.

The Wanted were just starting out when they performed at last year’s In:Demand Live. Since then, they’ve have had a whirlwind year, touring the UK, scoring 3 top ten singles and picking up shedloads of fans along the way.The boys were honoured to be asked to record this year’s Comic Relief single “Gold Forever” and, in turn, be a part of one of the most succesful ‘Red Nose Days’ to date. The boys - Max, Siva, Jay, Tom and Nathan -  aren’t showing any signs of slowing down in their quest for world pop domination with the new album out now and latest single “Glad You Came” making serious inroads into the upper reaches of the charts. It’s safe to say WE’RE glad THEY came to In:Demand Live today as they’re bound to bring the house down at the end of the show!

We are delighted to have The Saturdays at this year’s In:Demand Live.

The girls - Mollie, Una, Rochelle, Frankie and Vanessa -  have racked up 8 Top Ten hits since they burst onto the pop scene 3 years ago and their star certainly looks set to keep on rising! 2011 is going to be a monster year for The Saturdays as they release their third studio album and embark on a UK arena tour. The first single the girls are releasing from the album, ‘Notorious’ is released next week and we can’t wait to see the girls performing it for us today. It shows an edgier side to the band whilst sticking to their hotter-then-hot formula for big pop anthems. Get ready to sing along to some of your favourites this afternoon!

Nicola Roberts is a member of Girls Aloud, the most successful UK girl band of the century to date,, Nicola Roberts has enjoyed enormous success, including 20 top ten singles and over three million albums sold in the UK alone. Now she launches her solo career with the release of debut single, 'Beat Of My Drum',  which is taken from the forthcoming album 'Cinderella's Eyes' and which has already garnered massive critical and public acclaim. Get your tickets to In: Demand Live to check out Nicola’s very first solo live performance in Scotland. It’s sure to be something special..........

Chipmunk shot to fame in 2009 with the release of his debut album – ‘I Am Chipmunk’. An impressive 5 x Top Ten hits stemmed from that album including the huge number one, ‘Oopsy Daisy’ . This year is set to be another huge one for the 21 year old with the release of his second album entitled ‘Transition’ which looks certain to cement his reputation as one of the brightest young hopes in UK Urban music. New single ‘In The Air’ is out now.

The Feeling may not have been centrestage of late but they’re now ready to come bouncing back with their brilliant new album, Together We Were Made’. Expect more of the beautifully-crafted pop songs that propelled them to album sales of 1 million +.  Once again they’ve created a collection of catchy melodies you just can’t help but sing along to. The recent single, ‘Set my World on Fire’, shows that the boys have honed their songwriting talents to new levels and are on course to make 2011 a big year.  With a back catalogue that includes favourites such as ‘Never Be Lonely’ , ‘I Love It When You Call’ and ‘Fill My Little World’,  The Feeling are ready to deliver a fantastic set at In:Demand Live 2011.

Following a blistering set at last year’s In Demand Live, Tinchy Stryder returns triumphant to this year’s show. Not content with a string of top ten solo singles and collaborations and 2 massive albums, Tinchy Stryder has also developed and grown his own clothing line “Star in the Hood” named after his debut album. The clothes are selling right around the world and the brand now counts many big name stars – including Rihanna - amongst its afficionados. Tinchy is teaming up with one of his many showbiz mates - and NDubz frontman, Dappy, for his next single ‘Spaceship’ – taken from new album, Current Strike -  which looks set to race to the top of the charts on release in early June.

After wowing the crowds at last year’s In:Demand Live, we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to invite Example back to the SECC for another blistering set. Best known for his colossal anthem ‘Kickstarts’, 2011 sees the release of  the London rapper’s third studio album – ‘Playing In the Shadows’ -  from which new single ‘Changed the Way You Kiss Me’ is taken. This brand new collection of tunes will, no doubt, grow his reputation, success and fanbase yet further. Providing the very best in edgy electro-rap, Example also brings a boundless energy to In:Demand Live and when he comes on stage, it’s an explosion of sound and movement from start to finish.....make sure you’re with him all the way this afternoon!

We’re excited to welcome new grime / rap star, Wretch 32 to the In:Demand Live stage. Wretch comes from a London scene full of big names such as Chipmunk, Devlin & Professor Green. Having spent recent years collaborating on their music, Wretch 32 had the chance to shine earlier this year with his massive hit ‘Unorthodox’, featuring guest vocals from Example. Wretch 32 brings dirty beats, quick lines, memorable melodies and a whole bunch of excitement to the IDL stage today.

It’s not every day you get to be in the same room as a Pussycat Doll and one of the world’s hottest music producers, so we’re thrilled to welcome the next great urban electronic collective to In:Demand Live, namely Her Majesty and The Wolves – a.k.a. Kimberly Wyatt and Spencer Nezey. Together they’ve produced a fantastic debut album ‘111’ which is a kaleidoscopic fusion of euphoric pop, synths and next-generation hip-hop. The duo are set to bring some hot moves and cool grooves to In: Demand Live today so get ready to dance!

Wonderland may be fairly new to the pop scene, but already they’ve toured with both Boyzone and Westlife.  Jodi, Sharon, Corrina, Leigh and Kasey are the hot Irish girl band ‘du jour’, co-managed by X Factor’s Louis Walsh and Westlife’s own Kian Egan (who just also happens to be married to Jodi). Hot on the heels of first single, ‘Not a Love Song’, the girls released both the next single ‘Starlight’ and their eponymous debut album on 6th June. These gals look set to be huge so.... remember where you saw them first...at In:Demand Live 2011!

Growing up in Kilmacolm near Glasgow, Yasmin left university and headed to London to pursue her love of music initially as a Club DJ and she made her mark very quickly; so much so she was asked to DJ for the likes of Taio Cruz and N*E*R*D. Since then, Yasmin has supported fellow In:Demand Live act Example on his tour, scored a number 15 track with Devlin, and made a splash with her own single ‘Finish Line’. This girl’s certainly got everyone talking about her and is definitely one to keep a close eye on.....it’s not just today that she’s going to be ‘In:Demand’!

In:Demand Live is also welcoming one of the best up and coming UK girl bands around to this year’s show.....Parade. The girls - Emily, Lauren, Bianca, Jessica and Sian - have already scored a massive top 10 hit with their anthemic debut single ‘Louder’ which has seen them garner fans the length and breadth of the UK. The girls’ vibrancy and style has seen many favourable comparisons to the Spice Girls and forthcoming single, Perfume (released 20th June) should cement that reputation yet further.

Starboy Nathan is fast becoming THE hot tip for 2011. Back when he was just 14, he sang for Alicia Keys who told him he reminded her of Jamie Foxx. More recently he’s been picking up even more fans on the road with N-Dubz and JLS who he opened for on their massive arena tour. Starboy’s looking set to shine brighter and brighter this year with more releases from his second studio album ‘3D - Determination, Dedication, Desire’ following the last single ‘Diamonds’ which achieved youth-anthem status.

Siobhan Crampsey of organisers Bauer Media Scotland says:

“We’re delighted to have The Wanted back at In:Demand Live....their success in the past year has been incredible and their rise to the top meteoric. We’ve been inundated with requests, begging letters and heartfelt pleas from fans about the guys performing at the show and it’s fantastic they’ve now managed to confirm. With only 13 days to go, In: Demand Live is looking set to kick-start the summer in style!”
