The Nordic Fiddler's Bloc have blended three individual styles from Norway, Sweden and the Shetland Islands but still allow their individual, distinct flavours to come through in a sound that is unique, meaningful, intense and invigorating.
Samling is a four-piece band that binds together Norwegian and Scottish Gaelic vocal music traditions. Part of a new movement within the European roots scene known as Nu-Nordic, they take the two traditions and weave them together into a rich tapestry of harmony and rhythm with unexpected twists.
