They join the 4 semi-finalists confirmed last week – Jaz Ellington and Tyler James from team will.i.am and Ruth Brown and Leanne Mitchell from team Sir Tom.
All 8 finalists from the most talked about TV programme of the year will hit the road this autumn and will be coming to a city near you for The Voice Live Tour from September 2012.
You’ve watched them in the blind auditions, seen them sing their hearts out in the battles and go through a gruelling few weeks to save their spot in the final 8 now it’s your chance to see them perform for yourself. A group of the most talented singers in the UK, live on stage performing for you. At the SECC on 21 September 2012.

In her Blind Audition, Becky raised the roof with a powerful performance of John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People’ – which was of course written by a certain will.i.am. It was a bold and risky move performing one of the coaches’ songs but Becky’s not the shy type. And the risk paid off – Mr .i.am and Jessie both swivelled for the 18-year-old, who decided to go with Jessie after an agonising tussle. Becky’s a sixth-form student, a singer/songwriter and a part-time barmaid in a pub. But now she’s ready to shine as solo artist. And don’t be fooled by her age, she’s not here to sit at the kids table. Becky means business.

During her Blind Audition Bo turned Usher and David Guetta rave-a-thon ‘Without You’ on its head and gave it a chilled edge. Both will.i.am and Danny gave her kudos for her re-interpretation and after a bout of bargaining, Bo chose to be on Danny’s team. After some wayward teenage years, Bo feels she has come a long way, bringing her to a crossroads that will determine the rest of her musical career. Danny’s given her the green-light - this is just the start of an exciting journey.

His singing started in church and now he runs gospel workshops. He says he wants to prove that looks do not count and he’s come to the right place to do it. Jaz really took it to church and had the coaches moved to tears after his touching rendition of Ed Sheeran’s ‘A Team’. This, followed by an acapella rendition of John Legend’s ‘Ordinary People’, culminated in tears from the coaches and crowd. *Blub*

Now it's time for the stupendously-talented apple of their eye to shine. Currently carving out a career for himself in musical theatre, Max has played the lead in the UK tour of Footloose. He's also part of a band but wants to become an artist in his own right. He sang a mash-up of Eminem's ‘Lose Yourself’ and ‘Come Together’ by The Beatles in his Blind Audition, which led to Danny, Jessie and Will losing themselves in his voice, and coming together to turn their chairs around. After pledging allegiance to Team Danny, Max now looks poised to lead the next generation of Milner success. |

She said she was nervous but Ruth has already sung for the most powerful man in Britain - the Prime Minister, not Tom Jones – so she’s no stranger to the stage. But she says she wants someone to help her become an ARTIST. Brought up with music-loving parents, she’s got music in her bones. Her ideal way to relax is to write songs – we prefer a hot chocolate but that’s why she’s an artist and we’re not! Who knows, she could soon be singing her own songs for a living...

He sang Otis Redding’s ‘Sitting on the Dock of the Bay’ and a falsetto climax led to will.i.am pushing his button and becoming a crucial part of the next stage of Tyler’s career. Something of a superstar Sat-Nav, let’s hope he can navigate Tyler’s path back into the charts.

22-year-old Vince Kidd is well known among record label honchos and music scene hipsters, having penned songs for several artists. Influenced by Lady Gaga, Prince, Lauren Hill and Boy George, it’s not surprising that Mr Kidd has bags of swag – an attribute he’s rightly proud of. In his audition, Vince got a clean-sweep from the coaches with a suitably steamy version of Madge’s ‘Like a Virgin.’ Jessie thought he was a girl, but he let her off and chose our leading lady as his mentor-of-choice. Now an artist on The Voice, Vince hopes his career will hit the heights of his vocal range – which at times makes Mariah Carey sound like Barry White.

Multi-talented Leanne, 28, sings, writes music AND plays the piano and organ. Her day job is singing at a holiday park, which she loves, but she wants to follow in the footsteps of her inspirations Beyoncé and Christina Aguilera and take her music from the seaside to the big time. In her Blind Audition, she belted out Beyoncé’s ‘If I Were A Boy’. Her voice was powerful enough to turn both Danny and Tom Jones around and after some deliberation, she took her place on Sir Tom’s team. She’s got the skills to pay the bills but will she become The Voice UK?
