The producers of Strictly Come Dancing The Live Tour! are delighted to announce the final line up for the forthcoming UK arena tour.
EastEnders star Ricky Groves and BBC Breakfast’s Chris Hollins complete the celebrity line up for the 2010 dance spectacular. Ricky and Chris will join fellow dancing celebrities from the current series Ali Bastian, Natalie Cassidy and Zoe Lucker, as well as previously announced stars Kelly Brook, Austin Healey and Mark Ramprakash.
Ricky, who played unlucky in love car mechanic Gary Hobbs in the BBC soap EastEnders, swapped the streets of Walford for the dance floor where he received steady praise from the judges before leaving the competition in week 10.
BBC Breakfast’s sport presenter Chris Hollins is thoroughly enjoying his time on the smash-hit BBC dance show. Partnered with Polish beauty Ola Jordan, he has received his highest score to date in week 8 for the Foxtrot.
These eight celebrities will be joined by professional dancers Darren Bennett, Matthew Cutler, Brian Fortuna, James Jordan, Ola Jordan, Lilia Kopylova, Natalie Lowe, Kristina Rihanoff, Aliona Vilani and Ian Waite.
The original line-up of judges; Len Goodman, Bruno Tolioni, Arlene Philips and Craig Revel-Horwood are also on hand with comments and scores for the celebrities and their partners, but it is audiences who have the final say each night.
TV presenters Kate Thornton or Amanda Byram (check venues for details) will be keeping the judges and dancers in check as host of the show.
Having entertained more than 500,000 Strictly fans over two sell-out tours, STRICTLY COME DANCING - THE LIVE TOUR! returns for a third year to dazzle UK Arena audiences in 2010. Audiences should prepare themselves for an array of beautiful costumes, skilful routines and a host of celebrity dancers.
Stars from the hit BBC1 television show past and present will gather their gowns and dance shoes to become dance contestants, competing for the votes of the audiences in Arenas across the UK. They will be joined on the dates across January and February, by their world-class professional partners, performing intricate dance moves to fantastic live music.
